According to the British "Times" on December 7, an international archaeological team recently discovered more than 500 prehistoric human skeletons at a Neolithic site in Germany. They found that these men, women, and children may have all been eaten, confirming that there were indeed cannibals in prehistoric times.
The researchers discovered that the ribs of these skeletons had been scraped clean, their tongues cut out, scalps peeled off, and there were signs of cutting on the top of the skulls. Archaeologist Bruno Boulestin of the University of Bordeaux analyzed 217 reassembled human skeletons and said, "We found traces of being roasted and eaten on some of the human bones."
