Xinhua News Agency, March 2nd - According to Zahi Hawass, the top official of Egypt's Antiquities Department on Wednesday, an Australian archaeological team accidentally found a hidden door behind a statue while excavating an ancient tomb dating back 4,200 years. Through this hidden door, they found a well-preserved mummy with a large number of turquoise carved beads covering its body. The ancient tomb that archaeologists are currently excavating is located in Saqqara, 15 miles south of Cairo. This barren mountainous area is densely packed with ancient Egyptian tombs.
