Inscription: In the sea, we need a boat to ferry us from one shore to another; in life, we need to ferry ourselves from one shore to another; in the cycle of rebirth, we need Buddhism to ferry us from this shore to the other shore.
Friends who have been on a ship should know this feeling. On a quiet night, standing alone on the deck of a ship, feeling the sea breeze, listening to the sound of waves hitting the hull and the deep blue splashing water, it's truly a kind of beautiful melody. The tranquility of the night, only the navigation lights can guide our direction, only the waves add soft minor keys to the night, and the navigation lights tell us where we should go. The weather is always unpredictable, but no matter how the ship sails, no matter how the waves roar, the place we're heading to is the direction indicated by the navigation lights. Our goal? It's to cross from this shore to the other shore, which is the end point of this journey.
The Titanic sank, perhaps because it didn't stick to its purpose, turning sideways, allowing the iceberg to cut it in half, letting love, letting life sink with it. If the Titanic had stuck to its goal, ferrying everyone to the other shore, even if it collided head-on with the iceberg, maybe it wouldn't have met such a tragic end. Perhaps this was the difficulty the ship encountered in its lifetime!

He has gone through many storms, seen much of the world, he will never be deterred by difficulties and dangers. The source of this strength comes from the destination pointed out by the navigation lights ahead, as well as the other shore that all the passengers on this ship want to reach. Maybe this is the call of duty as a captain!
In the journey of life, what mission has heaven given us? We are not so lucky, there is no captain around us to help solve the problems before our eyes, nor is there a life navigation marker telling us whether the road ahead is bright or fraught with difficulties and obstacles. The future may be very uncertain, but the path lies under our own feet. So, the one who ferries us is only ourselves, only by being down-to-earth. I once read an article, saying that there was a devout Buddhist believer who encountered difficulties, so he went to worship Guanyin Bodhisattva. While worshipping Guanyin Bodhisattva, he noticed a woman next to him who looked very much like Guanyin Bodhisattva, so he asked: "Are you Guanyin?" That woman replied: "Yes, I am Guanyin." That Buddhist believer asked in great puzzlement: "If you are Guanyin, why...
