So what did the Chinese leave behind there and what has it evolved into? Today, wine merchants from California are rushing to the stores, promoting their wines to Chinese consumers. Young merchants may not know much about that history, and Chinese consumers don't necessarily know that the land once dripped with the blood and sweat of their ancestors.
