Online marketing training helps migrant workers get rich

The vocational skills training class for rural labor force jointly held by the Labor Department and Wuxue Office was officially opened, attracting more than 50 young people from Guo Yinglong Village to sign up for study.

The training class mainly focuses on computer application basics and online marketing training, helping many specialized breeding households in Guo Yinglong Village master advanced technology and continuously broaden product sales channels, making Wuxue aquatic products famous both north and south of the Yangtze River.

The Labor Department's opening of vocational skills training classes for rural labor transfer is an important measure to support the construction of a new countryside, send skills to the countryside, and provide farmers with practical technology.

Guo Yinglong Village is a well-known eel breeding base throughout Wenzhou. 70% of the households in the village have carried out eel breeding, selling 200,000 catties of eels annually. In 2006, led by the Wuxue Office and the Village Committee, 75 aquaculture breeders spontaneously established the Eel Breeding Association.

Through various means such as holding eel breeding technology training classes, opening technical service hotline phones, and compiling materials, the association teaches scientific and advanced net cage eel breeding practical technology to a wide range of eel breeders, does a good job in supplying seedlings, feed, and medicine, and provides technical and financial assistance to breeders in difficulty, providing guarantees for increasing farmers' income and becoming rich.
