A public welfare employment promotion meeting was held in Oubei Town, Yongjia County the day before yesterday. According to the personnel department of that county, more than 2000 tickets were specially issued to various townships in Yongjia County for this employment promotion meeting and more than 1800 people received government subsidies with the tickets yesterday. According to Zhu Qinghua, director of Yongjia County Talent Service Center, more than 100 enterprises took part in this employment promotion meeting and provided more than 3000 positions on the spot, mainly targeting at college graduates, rural surplus labor force and groups having difficulties in employment. Different from previous job fairs, this public welfare employment promotion meeting implemented a government subsidy mechanism: anyone who entered the venue with a special admission ticket could enjoy a government subsidy of 50 yuan per person. Meanwhile, technicians and college graduates who signed employment agreements or labor contracts on that day could also receive subsidies ranging from 200 yuan to 500 yuan according to their jobs. Moreover, enterprises recruiting laid-off or unemployed personnel or urban zero-employment-family personnel could enjoy social security subsidies, post subsidies and so on.
