A reporter was having dinner at a small restaurant in Tian Shui Lane downstairs of the newspaper office when suddenly three girls ran out from an adjacent hair salon. They were screaming and adjusting their disheveled clothes. Behind them, another girl followed, holding a handbag with her left hand and a knife with her right hand. After stepping outside, she shook her hair and twisted her waist. The knife was a kitchen knife. She first smelled the blade near her nostrils, then swung it around making slashing gestures. Afterwards, she walked to a fruit store nearby and chopped on a bundle of sugar canes several times with "shua shua shua" sounds.
