A 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the boundary area of Shidian County and Longyang District, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, with a focal depth of one kilometer. It is reported that Baoshan City has complex and diverse terrain. The entire terrain extends and inclines from the northwest to the southeast. The lowest altitude is 535 meters and the highest altitude is 3780.9 meters, with an average altitude of about 1800 meters.
The highest point is the Da Naozi Peak of Gaoligong Mountain in Tengchong County, with an altitude of 3780.9 meters. The lowest point is the Wanma River estuary at the southwestern border of Longling County and Luxi City, with an altitude of 535 meters.
