The use of polyphonic characters in naming, like the use of obscure characters, can cause great inconvenience to people's calling, and the meaning itself is not clear enough. When a name has two or more pronunciations due to polyphonic characters, it becomes even more confusing. For example, in "Le Hai Restaurant", the character "乐" has two pronunciations, one is "LE" and the other is "YUE", leaving people uncertain about which pronunciation is better. The following characters also have two readings: 行 (XING, HANG), 省 (SHENG, XING), 重 (CHONG, ZHONG), 茜 (QIAN, XI), 朝 (CHAO, ZHAO), etc. Of course, we are not saying that polyphonic characters should never be used in naming. But at least we should ensure that others can determine its pronunciation and avoid misreading.
