Chronic gastritis refers to various chronic inflammatory lesions of the gastric mucosa caused by different etiologies. It is a common disease, with superficial gastritis and atrophic gastritis being more frequently observed clinically. Recent studies suggest that chronic superficial gastritis is closely related to Helicobacter pylori infection, and the positive detection rate of Helicobacter pylori in patients with chronic gastritis is very high.
