In the episode "Being Employed", Xiaoqiang's school issued a strict order that those who were not employed would not be given graduation certificates. In response, and with no other options, Xiaoqiang signed an employment contract with a familiar food stall, thus actively choosing to "be employed". When he returned to his dormitory, he found out that his roommates had also signed with the same food stall - "The whole dormitory are now colleagues at the campus food stall!" In other series, there are stories of Xiaoqiang being repeatedly rejected under the pretext of "not accepting new graduates", or being forced by the school to move out and becoming "nail households" (those who refuse to move despite urban development), or encountering scams while job hunting. The comic is humorous and entertaining, yet heartrending.
