The lamb fat white seed jade has a waxy luster, resembling lamb fat, and is warm and inviting to the touch. It is mostly produced in the Yulong Karax River and Karakax River basins of Hotan, Xinjiang. There is also another type of lamb fat jade that has a slight bluish-gray hue, which is equally warm and inviting, with a strong waxy feel. Green jade often appears in shades of bluish-green with a hint of gray; gray-white jade shows a mix of gray and white.
