The "greasiness" of filled white jade is generally high, with a very good "buttery texture," uniform color, and high transparency. When held up to the light, its interior appears cold white. However, overall, it doesn't feel like "mutton fat," but more like "paraffin wax."
Truly high-quality mutton-fat jade is extremely rare. Among the nephrite collections in both the Beijing Palace Museum and the Taipei Palace Museum, there are only a few pieces of mutton-fat jade.
