It has been two months since I decided to pursue my connection with Hetian jade. Fortunately, I've had the time and peace of mind during this half year to dedicate all my passion to learning about jade. Thus, on June 2nd, I enthusiastically flew to Shanghai for a seven-day jade exploration trip in Shanghai and Suzhou.
On June 2nd, right after landing, I dropped off my things at the Xin Jiangjiang Hotel and immediately headed to Zhongfu Jewelry. Zhongfu is located at the intersection of Hubei Road and Fuzhou Road, by the side of Nanjing Road. As expected, there was indeed an impressive selection of high-quality Hetian jade! This was a sight I had never seen in Guangzhou, so I was extremely excited and began browsing store by store... Unfortunately, in my haste to leave the hotel, I forgot to grab my camera. I inquired about the prices of two pieces I liked: a red-skinned Buddha piece weighing around 100 grams priced at 7.5 million yuan, and an autumn deer skin piece priced at 2.5 million yuan.
