Jade originates from Mount Kunlun, but once it leaves Hetian, it seems to no longer be "jade." Therefore, the so-called "jades" you see now are mostly not genuine Hetian jade. There are "Xiuyan jade," "Dushan jade," "Northeast yellow material," "Miyu," "Jiangsu jade," "Beijing white jade," "Qinghai material," "Qingtian stone," "Russian white jade," "Afghan white jade," "Pakistan white jade," "Korean white jade," etc., and the list goes on and on. As for those that use other minerals like "ying stone" as substitutes, and at the lowest level, those made by glass or resin synthesis, they're not even worth mentioning. Since the time of our ancestors eight generations ago, there have been dozens of "substitutes" for jade. Not only ordinary people, but even experts in the field can easily be deceived by the "material" if their eyesight is slightly off or they are a bit careless. Don't even mention craftsmanship and aging. This water is too deep!
