The night fell quietly, and the whole city began to appear dazed and ambiguous. The day's clamor began to settle down, and the tiny particles of sand floating in the air began to quiet with time. Zhuo Yang finished his last puff of cigarette at a roadside convenience store, patted his numb legs after squatting for too long, and walked towards a nearby parking lot. His job was to drive around the city every day. That's right, Zhuo Yang is a taxi driver, but unlike other drivers, he only drove after 7:30 PM.

Now he absent-mindedly inserted an Enya disc into the CD player. He liked Enya because her voice was like that in heaven, untouchable. He quietly leaned against the seat like hiding here intentionally to be forgotten by the city. Often, Zhuo Yang would observe pedestrians who needed taxis through the bright and smooth mirror in front of him, choosing someone interesting from them. For example, a man wearing a fiery red shirt, or a girl with a buzz cut. He indulged himself in this little game, never tiring of it. Today, he saw a woman in a white shirt among the crowd. The shirt was evidently men's style, overly large on her. She rolled up the cuffs all the way to her arms so as not to affect the big and small packages she carried in her hands.

"Where are you going?" Zhuo Yang slightly leaned out of the window and asked while driving over. She didn't answer his question but opened the car door and got in as if Zhuo Yang's arrival was natural. Under the neon lights of the night, he observed this woman through the rearview mirror. She was very young, with rosy cheeks like a teenager's, and her eyes were bright. She seemed to notice Zhuo Yang observing her, and when their eyes met, her curiosity quickly fled in panic. Zhuo Yang smiled; this was really a cute girl. She probably had never encountered a taxi driver wearing a plaid shirt and spraying KENZO perfume. Zhuo Yang was different from other drivers. He had an attractive appearance and a degree worth boasting about. He could have sought a job that many people envied. But in reality, he was a genuine taxi driver.
