Japan's free culture

Every Thursday on the way to work, I would pick up a free copy of the magazine "R25" from a street newsstand. Though it's free, this magazine is quite well-known in Japan and is issued every Thursday. "R25" specifically targets men aged between 25 and 34 (I am a woman, but I enjoy reading it too; there is also an edition for women called "L25", but the male-oriented one is more popular), and it is said that "R25" has a print run of 600,000 copies.
