Jiangsu, one of the Jiang-Zhe regions that have been wealthy since ancient times, ranks seventh in the national average wage level.
According to the feedback from the National Bureau of Statistics, by the end of this year's third quarter, the average wage level of employees in urban units in Jiangsu still ranked behind Beijing (39663 yuan), Shanghai (39004 yuan), Tibet (32436 yuan), Tianjin (27687 yuan), Zhejiang (23603 yuan) and Guangdong (23078 yuan), ranking seventh among all provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities).
