It's not that I haven't participated in Project Hope before, but every time, it ended up with just paying a sum of money. This is the first time that I actually meet face-to-face with a child I sponsor. The auditorium of that remote and peaceful little mountain village was decorated festively today. Since the beginning of the ceremony, a row of seven or eight children had been sitting there. They were so young and obedient, each one sitting perfectly still. I had already filled out a donation card, knowing that the person I'm sponsoring is in second grade. Now, from afar, I was speculating which child is mine, to the extent that I didn't hear a word of the speeches given by leaders one after another.
