Cigarette (Eric) is a high-ranking official's son from Beijing, studying abroad in the UK. Due to his handsome appearance and rebellious personality, he has quite a bit of appeal to the opposite sex. Cigarette has a long-term girlfriend named Ding Xue back in Beijing. However, during his time studying abroad, Cigarette has had no shortage of girlfriends. By chance, Cigarette meets another Beijing native and fellow international student, Green Tea (Suki). Cigarette and Green Tea get along very well, but because there is still a woman who deeply loves him back in Beijing—Ding Xue, whom he calls "wife," Cigarette cannot openly express his feelings to Green Tea.
