This book is the third part of *Inheritance*. The first two parts are *Eragon* and *Eldest*. The trilogy of *Inheritance* tells about a peasant boy Eragon who was caught in a whirlpool of fate because of a "sapphire" he found accidentally in the mountain. He was pushed to the position of a savior before he knew what happened. As they gradually learned about their identity and past, they have to choose the path for their future. The stake is naturally the shaky world where the evil overlord runs rampant.
