Nan is a sixty-five-year-old widow whose husband passed away twenty years ago. She is a peculiar, capricious, and fearless beautiful woman who lives in a house perched on a seaside cliff. Due to investment mistakes, she faces bankruptcy and may have to sell her beloved home. However, she changes her mind and decides to rent out her house instead. Thus, this once lonely house becomes lively again as three tenants soon move in: Dav, who painfully divorced after her husband had an affair and became a struggling single mother; Daniel, the father of two girls, harboring a long-suppressed secret - he is a homosexual; and lastly Michael, Nan's son, who returns to his long-absent home with a broken heart. Nan is intelligent and has a psychologist-like intuition. By helping them, she finds fulfillment herself, and her life is filled with laughter and tears of love once again. Nan and these tenants eventually gain new insights: one must bravely say goodbye to the past to truly begin an exciting new life...
