There are many fairies living in the Ten Thousand Flowers Grove, and the owner here calls herself Auntie.

Auntie does not allow the fairies to fall in love with men; those who violate this rule will be severely punished. But there is a fairy named Peony who has fallen in love with a scholar who accidentally wandered into the Ten Thousand Flowers Grove. I was moved by their love, went against Auntie's wishes, and let Peony secretly help the scholar escape from the Ten Thousand Flowers Grove. But Auntie eventually found out and punished Peony.

The other fairies did not know where Peony had gone when the scholar returned.

The scholar kept searching for Peony's whereabouts. Auntie personally entertained him but did not tell him where Peony was. Instead, she unusually handed over all the female fairies to him for him to choose from. The scholar chose Lilac as his wife, which made me feel sorry for Peony.

It turns out that the scholar chose to stay to continue looking for Peony.

I was deeply touched, thinking that if only I had met him first. It seems once the seed of love is planted, it brings much suffering.

I am willing to clear obstacles for him, and even if it costs all my strength, I would do it without hesitation. He has taught me the meaning of love - even if I am in hellfire, my heart is in heaven. Although he does not belong to me, I have no regrets.
