At 3 a.m., I was sitting in the sweltering green-skin carriage, heading back to my grandmother's house for her final farewell.

Choking on the phone, stuttering about my grandmother's illness, I finally managed to stop sobbing and said with a crying voice: "You need to come back immediately, hurry up, maybe you can still catch a last glimpse of your grandmother."
