Was Journey to the West written by Qiu Chuji?

The various versions of "Journey to the West" from the Ming Dynasty were all published anonymously. During the Qing Dynasty, Wang Xiangxu, in his work "The Book of Certifying the Way of the Western Journey", proposed that "Journey to the West" was written by Qiu Chuji of the Southern Song Dynasty. After this view was put forward, most literati of the Qing Dynasty agreed with it.
