We often see text-based art portraits composed of various fonts completed in a digital manner. Here, we are going to introduce hand-written text art portraits. The artist John Sokol from Ohio, USA, has decided to quote the works or words of important writers from the past two hundred years and compose their own portraits in a hand-written style. These include Nobel laureate Toni Morrison's *Song of Solomon*; Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy's *War and Peace*; American poet Walt Whitman's *Leaves of Grass*; Irish writer Samuel Beckett's *Waiting for Godot*; American author William Faulkner's *The Sound and the Fury*; and even the current U.S. President Barack Obama’s important speech *A More Perfect Union*.
