Ancient Greece has the archaic smile, so what about modern times? Is it a little bit scary? In fact, it is the winter year-end promotion event of the Laforet Grand Bazar shopping plaza in Harajuku. They made this interesting video not only as a tribute to the Japanese love dramas of the 90s but also to showcase Daito Manabe's quirky design: the flashing LED smile. The flashing LED smile originated in August 2010 from a street flash mob activity in Tokyo called "Party in the Mouth," which was also led by Daito Manabe. Very interesting.
