The project is part of the Beijing Contemporary International Arts Festival, with project partners including the Beijing Modern Dance Company, Kiang Art Gallery, and the Arts Network Asia.

Juan Domínguez, dancer and artist, studied classical and modern dance in Spain and the United States. He began performing for various European dance companies in 1987, collaborating with different choreographers including Olga Mesa, Bocanada Danza, Blanca Calvo, Iaki Azpillaga, Cesc Gelabert, Ana Buitrago, La Ribot, Cuqui Jerez, Gilles Jobin, Jérôme Bel, Xavier Le Roy, and Tino Sehgal. He teaches and conducts workshops on dance and choreography. In 1992, he began focusing on his own work. Since 2003, he has served as the director of the festival "Representative" (La Casa Quemada in Madrid).
