The tallest monument in the world - the Battle of San Jacinto in Houston.
A conical column stands on the shore of the San Jacinto River in Houston, Texas, USA. It is 173.7 meters high, with a base covering an area of 14 square meters and a viewing tower occupying 9 square meters. Built between 1936 and 1939 to commemorate the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21, 1836, a 200-ton star is placed at the top of the tower.
