In our country, it has a long history. During the long old and new stone ages, stone processing was a means of livelihood for the primitive ancestors of Lingnan. Rock carvings have been discovered in multiple places in Hong Kong, Macao, and Zhuhai at the Pearl River Estuary. These carvings are mainly complex abstract patterns, using an engraving technique. Notably, the rock carvings on Golan Island in Nanshui Town, Zhuhai, are particularly significant. The largest carving is 3 meters high and 5 meters long, with clearly engraved lines. Among the complex lines, figures and boat carvings can still be recognized.
