Venus of Milo

The *Aphrodite of Milos*, commonly known as the *Venus of Milo*, *Venus with Amputated Arms*, or simply *Venus*, is a marble statue standing at 204 cm tall. It was created by Alexandros around 150 BCE and is currently housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. Since the day it was discovered, this statue has been universally acclaimed as the most beautiful Greek female statue to date. Moreover, this statue is one of the three greatest treasures of the Louvre Museum.
