The characteristics of Ge Kiln porcelain are rice-yellow glaze, gold and iron lines, purple rim and iron base, and it also falls into the category of celadon. Its body is slightly thicker than that of Southern Song official kiln porcelain, and thus appears more steady and grand. Ge Kiln porcelain from the Song and Yuan dynasties are national treasure-level items due to their extremely small extant quantity, and the chance to even touch them is very rare. Collecting a small modern piece as a daily tea-drinking tool has its own charm. -- Jin Ma Lotus
