The production technology of "light fragrance" Oolong tea is unique, and its appearance and aroma are completely different from traditional Oolong tea. Compared with Anxi Oolong tea in Fujian which traditionally has the "green leaves with red edges", the "light fragrance" Oolong tea has obvious "three green" characteristics: namely, dry tea is green, tea infusion is green, and the infused leaves are green. Its shape can be spherical or semi-spherical (commonly known as "green bean shape"), and after brewing, it displays a flower bud shape in the cup. The aroma is light and lasting, the tea infusion is clear to the bottom, tender and sweet with a refreshing aftertaste, and the infused leaves are soft. For example, Dongding Oolong tea has a semi-spherical shape, tightly twisted, with a dark green luster on the dry tea. Its aroma is fresh and fragrant, the taste is rich and fresh, it stimulates saliva secretion upon entering the mouth, and feels sweet and smooth when going down the throat. It has a strong aftertaste, and the tea infusion color is honey yellow, clear and bright.
