On September 15, Reuters reported that Twitter is redesigning its web page so that its tens of thousands of users can better use the service and discover new information.

An average of 370,000 new users are signing up every day. The four-year-old company, which this month reported that it had reached 145 million users, announced new changes on Sept. 14, such as embedding YouTube videos and other content.

Twitter's chief executive, Evan. Evan Williams, Twitter's chief executive, said the revamped site would have a new look that was faster and easier for users to grasp. On average, more than 900 million messages will pass through the network every day. "The new web will provide a richer and faster experience," Williams said in a statement announcing the new web page. Twitter users can send 140-character messages, so the site has quickly become the most popular social networking service, with competitors including Facebook and LinkedIn.

It is understood that the revised Twitter website will be opened to a small group of users on the 15th, and will be expanded to all Twitter users worldwide in the next few weeks.
