HTML5 is the biggest leap forward in web standards in the past decade. Unlike previous versions, HTML5 is not just for presenting web content; its mission is to bring the web into a mature application platform where video, audio, images, animations, and interactions with the computer are all standardized. Although the full realization of HTML5 still has a long way to go, it is already changing the web.
