Twitter has currently become an online network service that many bloggers in China like, even though there are similar microblogging services domestically. However, in one of my surveys about the use of microblogging, it was shown that most users still chose Twitter. In my analysis of what kind of microblogging service could attract users, I pointed out that besides providing tools such as IM, mobile access, mobile clients, and Firefox add-ons, it's more important to be able to become an open platform. Clearly, Twitter is leading the way in this aspect. There are already a great number of third-party extension applications based on Twitter. Below, I will only provide a partial list (it might not even be possible to make a complete one) of some that I am familiar with, to share with everyone.
