Online image processing is a popular field in the Web 2.0 era, with many similar services available; even Adobe launched its own online version of Photoshop. However, precisely because there are so many such services and most of them lack innovative features, only a few are truly worth bookmarking or using regularly. Simply put, for the average person, if all an online image processing tool can do are tasks that can be accomplished faster and more easily with desktop software, then this online service basically has no value. Of course, if you dislike having any image processing software on your computer, including something as basic as "Paint," then that's a different story.
