YubNub & serchilo: Search multiple sites using the command line

Geedr.com once introduced a very nice multi-site search engine plugin called Joongle. Although it's useful, it only supports about a dozen search engines or websites. Now there is a more convenient, faster, simpler, and more powerful way to search multiple sites: one is YubNub, the other is Searchilo. Both use a command-line format for searching, meaning one command represents one search engine or website. When searching, you just need to input the command + keywords to search content on the corresponding site. Isn't that very powerful? The main functions of both are the same, so I will introduce them together.

First, let me explain command-line searching in more detail using YubNub as an example. If I want to search for pictures about BlackBerry on Google, I just need to type "gim blackberry" in the search bar of a browser with the YubNub search plugin installed. Here, "gim" stands for "Google Images." To search on Flickr, you would type "flk blackberry." Other examples include "am" for Amazon, "gma" for Gmail, "y" for Yahoo!, and "imdb" for IMDB. There is also a pretty cool command called "mash." If you type "mash blackberry flk gim yim," the browser will open three windows showing the image search results for BlackBerry from Flickr, Google Images, and Yahoo! Images respectively. There are many commands, and if there isn't one you like, you can create your own. You can also modify existing commands for your own use.
