As the largest and most successful microblog, Twitter has users from all over the world. If you check out Twitter's Public Timeline, you'll see that it is almost entirely in foreign languages, with Japanese being the most common. With services like Fanfou or Jiwai, you can still see what others are thinking, saying, or doing, but with Twitter, you would need to be proficient in multiple languages to do so. However, there is now a convenient solution. Chrisyu from Japan has created an online translation tool for Tweets that can easily translate them into multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese. Since this translation system is based on Google, it supports many languages, so you don't have to worry about it being unable to translate. This application comes in two forms: a Greasemonkey script for Firefox and a Bookmarklet compatible with most browsers. You can choose whichever one you prefer; I use the more convenient Greasemonkey script. You can visit [this link] to install the script or add the Bookmarklet.
