Since 2003, the average size of web pages has increased threefold. From 2003 to 2008, the average size of web pages grew from 93.7K to 312K, an increase of 233%. Meanwhile, within these five years, the average number of objects in a web page doubled, rising from 25.7 to 49.9. When combining this with earlier data, since 1995, the average size of web pages has increased 22 times, and the average number of objects in web pages has grown 21.7 times.
