Google Earth Sky Web Version - Google Sky Goes Live
The Google Earth Sky mode featured in the Google Earth software allows users to observe celestial bodies from their computers. However, those without the Google Earth software installed were unable to take advantage of this feature. On March 13th, Google announced the launch of the web-based version of Google Earth Sky – Google Sky, which brings the functionality of stargazing to a web platform. Users no longer need to install any software and can simply open their web browsers anytime to explore the universe.
