W3C is almost the only standard on the Internet. The other day, it released the official new HTML5 logo and made a brand-new explanation of the HTML5 technology. It can be expected that in the future more browsers will have greater support for the HTML5 standard, and more web pages requiring interactive elements will be rewritten using HTML5.

Below is the designer's explanation of the HTML5 logo:

The term "HTML5" has taken on a life of its own. Whether among developers or in the public community, the object referred to by this word has long exceeded the scope of a single standard, leading to much confusion and debate. This set of standards needs a standard. That is, HTML5 needs a consistent set of standardized visual vocabularies to clearly refer to specific objects in conversations, presentations, and explanations.

Eight technical features of HTML5:

1. Semantics

As the forefront and center of HTML5, semantics can give meaning to the framework structure. A richer combination of tags, Resource Description Frameworks (RDF), microdata, and microformats will create a data-driven network for you and your users.

2. Local Storage

With the help of application caching, local storage, indexed databases, and file application interfaces, HTML5 applications can even work without an internet connection.

3. Device Access

Geolocation is just the beginning; HTML5 allows applications to access any device connected to your computer.

4. Connectivity

More efficient connectivity can bring real-time chat, faster game speeds, and better communication. Network sockets and mail cameras between servers and clients will be more convenient than ever before.

5. Multimedia

Audio and video are first-class citizens in the world of HTML5, coexisting harmoniously with your applications and websites. Lights, camera, action!

6. Two-dimensional and Three-dimensional Effects

Among the features like SVG, Canvas, WebGL, and CSS3 3D effects, you're sure to find creative ways to dazzle and delight your users.

7. Performance and Integration

Make your applications and networks faster with a large number of technologies such as Web Workers and XMLHttpRequest 2. No one wants to stop and wait for you to catch up.

8. CSS3

CSS3 provides a wealth of styling effects and enhances your web applications without sacrificing your content structure or performance. Additionally, WOFF (Web Open Font Format) offers unprecedented control over print flexibility.
