Kangaroo is a cloud storage service similar to Dropbox that can instantly and automatically synchronize the same file across PC, mobile devices, and the Web. Kangaroo is a Dropbox-like cloud storage service for file management and backup; it can instantly and automatically sync the same files to multiple platforms such as PCs, mobile devices, and the Web, truly enabling cross-platform usage. Kangaroo is not limited by time, location, or device – as long as there's an internet connection, users can manage and back up their files anytime, anywhere, on any PC or mobile device. Currently, Kangaroo offers 2GB of free storage space and will also support syncing contacts between phones and PCs. More platforms are expected to be launched in the near future.

China's cloud storage market will have its unique development opportunities, and business models with stronger scalability and flexibility are destined to be products that focus on software and devices for general consumers. I believe what we truly need are not services like S3, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud, but rather fundamental cloud services that can be consumed and accessed by general users. Here, apart from well-known services like Dropbox and SugarSync, more and more domestic companies are beginning to experiment with cloud storage systems aimed at general users to secure their future: Data Bank (Huawei), Weipan (Sina), KuaiPan (Kingsoft), Suishenpan (Xunlei), and Kangaroo (Fastcar).
