On April 20, Baidu Book Search (book.baidu.com) was officially launched. Baidu book search data from libraries, electronic booksellers, online bookstores and other partners, for Chinese users to provide more accurate book information query services.

Among the first 10 partners of Baidu Book Search, there are professional institutions such as Peking University Library, Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhongshan Library, mature electronic booksellers such as Superstar and Founder, and online bookstores such as Xueeryou, Shanghai Xinhua Media, Azure and Excellence. Baidu and its partners have jointly built a large database of books and provided search services through Baidu's powerful technology platform, ensuring easy to use and accurate search results.

For the purpose of launching book search, Baidu product marketing director Bian Jiang said: "With the development of e-commerce and electronic books, more and more people search for books on the Internet. Baidu Book Search follows this trend to enable users in need to get better service." Baidu launched book search, which, like all of Baidu's search services, does not charge users. So far, Baidu has provided 42 products and services to Internet users. The industry believes that Baidu's development of products attaches importance to practicality, which is an important reason for its high market share.
