Hyperchrome catches up with IE, Firefox seeks to support multiple cpus

Mozilla has launched a new, as yet unnamed project that is poised to surpass Google Chrome and IE8 in speed with multi-CPU support, both of which support multiple cpus. Multi-cpu architecture is common in most desktop applications, and Firefox's multi-CPU architecture divides some intensive work between different cpus, such as having one CPU run the user interface and chrome applications, and another rendering web content.
