Hitwise: The long tail search may be longer than expected

A recent article by Dustin Woodward on the official Hitwise blog talks about how long-tail searches can be longer than we thought. Hitwise's search keyword data for the last three months shows that the top 1,000 search keywords only contribute about 10 percent of the traffic, and Woodward found that Hitwise's data contained 14 million search keywords, of which "... myspace" Is the most popular keyword.
