Livestation is part of Microsoft's new Live product series, but what exactly is it used for? According to the official website, Livestation is a free application that allows users to receive news and radio channels on any connected computer. With it, you can get the news, sports, and events you want, whenever and wherever you are. The software is currently in testing phase, and the official website does not yet offer downloads. Here is its client, Livestation1.0.71.0-Installer. Additionally, installing Silverlight is also required. It feels somewhat similar to Miro, so those who want to try something new can give it a shot.
The beta test of this software even won the 2008 Media Guardian Innovation Award.
