Microsoft released the first test version of Windows 7 (Build 7000) to a small number of testers over the Christmas weekend, and will begin larger tests next month. In addition to the extensive screenshots we've just seen, the SuperSite for Windows website has posted a taste of this version of Windows 7 Beta.
