He was admitted to the prestigious American University in Cairo at the age of 5. In January this year, Guinness World Records announced that Waili is the smartest child prodigy in the world!
His mathematical talent first emerged when he was 3 and a half years old. Mohammed Waili was born in January 1999 into a middle-class family in Egypt. He has two older sisters, and both his parents are doctors.
The discovery of Waili's mathematical talent was purely accidental. One day when he was 3 and a half years old, his father was teaching his sister math and asked "What is 7×7?" His sister failed to answer it correctly after three attempts.
