Baidu and Unicom cooperate to develop 3G mobile search

Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) has recently announced that it will participate in the R&D and testing work for China Netcom's 3G mobile search business. According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly conduct research on the mobile search business for the 3G era, and collaboratively complete the development and testing of the 3G mobile search engine, among other tasks.
